Welcome to the documentation for Lyricue

The current version of this document can be seen at http://www.lyricue.org/documentation (unless you are already there, in which case this is the most recent version)

Installation

Current Version: 4.0.4-1

The easiest way to download/install is using the PPA repository for Ubuntu To do this open a terminal and run the following commands.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:chris-debenham/lyricue
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lyricue

If you are not running Ubuntu then choose the release series that is the closest match to your system or install from source

Use lyricue in your church?

Precue

Precue was written by Clint Turner
with assistance from Chris Debenham and Mark Clearwater

This application is used as a web/mobile frontend to Lyricue

Why use Precue?

With Precue you can provide users access to your lyricue installation in order to check what songs are available, add/edit/remove playlists and add new songs

Development is done using bazaar inside launchpad so go to https://code.launchpad.net/lyricue to view/access/download the current development code

Debian/Ubuntu packages built from bazaar are also available from the apt repository aslyricue -see https://launchpad.net/~chris-debenham/+archive/lyricue

Bug tracking is handled via Launchpad – see https://bugs.launchpad.net/lyricue
